It was Bevan, I think, who said that politics was a blood sport – but even blood sports have rules.
The past couple of days has shown us the utter disgusting depths that this morally bankrupt Government will go to win the fight, and that is part of the problem this Government does not want to solve anything, it wants to win a fight. It wants to win a fight to cover up the OmniShambles of its tenure, its incompetence.
Over the past couple of days the holder of one the highest Office of State – the Chancellor of the Exchequer – has used smear tactics to win political points, in print he as accused the Shadow Chancellor of being involved in the LIBOR Affair, without evidence and when asked repeatedly to withdraw his statement in the House of Commons – he refused. In a naked and frenzied attack the Chancellor proved his is totally unfit to hold public office, he is an utter disgrace to this nation and ought to retire to his Baroncy.
Osborne has shown the British the ugly truth of the Tory Party.
Ed Balls is no wimp, and you do not come to be Shadow Chancellor by pussy footing around, but, to my knowledge, he has never sunk the depths of smear tactics like Osborne, any moral superiority that the Conservative Party had it gave away. Having to watch a Prime Minister who week after week resorts to rudeness, bullying, and being condescending to anyone who dares disagrees with him it was revelation to see his ‘chum’ Osborne sink to the depths of the gutter.
This Government has proved it approves of the bullying and violence to achieve its aim, it has proved it is not ‘off the people’ as it is led from crisis to crisis by the opposition who are calling for the Government to act like a Government; the overbearing arrogance of the Tory Posh Boys is not even disguised anymore, it is blatant, they have in the past two years brought Parliament to the level of the worst days of Berlusconi Government in Italy.
I look at the footage of the Parliamentary thug fest and think that Parliament should be dissolved, let us be ruled by Royal dicta; they proved more than anything else why this country has been run into to ground, and why under this Government this country can never achieve anything because it will be tainted by the spite, malice, raw aggression of the Bullingdon Club Boys.
My MP, Justin Tomlinson, pointed out that I should stop using the references to the Bullingdon Club, but it is the only way to explain and illustrate the thuggish behaviour of Cameron and Osborne.
To Osborne and Cameron I say nothing, I do not have words to express my contempt for them, to Justin Tomlinson I say ‘consider your position as a part of this bankrupt party, it is not worthy of the name ‘Conservative’.
