Setting the scene, David was called back to the HoC to answer an Emergency Question on the Jeremy Hunt fiasco, so David is already bubbling under the skin because the ‘House’ has actually forced him to come to the Commons – so he is already bubbling.
But it goes further back than this, for some reason he is beginning to notice he is unpopular, the ‘arrogant posh boys’ comment of last week, Theresa May’s Qatada fiasco, Osborne’s ‘Granny Tax’ is beginning to show people how arrogant his Front Bench are, and now he has to try to shore up another OmniShambles with the leaks of texts and emails to Murdoch – Dave is not a happy bunny.
Over the past few weeks at PMQ’s Dave has been showing signs of strain, one week failing to grasp the fact that ‘PMQs’ stand for Prime Ministers Questions, which infers he has to answer questions and not ask them – he managed to answer no questions – a sign he doesn’t want to answer.
Last week he nearly blew a gasket, the strain showing, red with fury because someone had dared to ask him an awkward question.
Turning up at the HoC’s was not what he had planned, and I guess the question, well I guess statement, from the Rt Hon Member for Bolsover was the final straw.
A totally enraged David told the Denis to retire, again another ageist jibe at an MP who was serving as an MP before he was out of Eton, lets face Denis is no shrinking violet and I am sure that the remark hardly registered on his ego, but the problem is not Denis’s ego, it is David’s ego.
It could be suggested that in the ‘workplace’ and employer making such a remark could be taken to a tribunal for discrimination, but then they would be a queue because when Dave gets angry he just resorts to insulting people – lets look at some of his jibes.
Tourette’s (against Rt Hon Member for Outwood & Morely
Ageism (Rt Hon Member for Bolsove onthreeoccassions)
Sexism (Rt Hon Member for Woollasley)
I would suggest that these outburst illustrates the contempt Cameron and the Tories have for the disabled, the old, and women, his policies have specifically hit the disabled with the Welfare Bill hitting those on Incapacity Benefit the hardest, the old, the infamous granny tax and women being the hardest hit during the recession and the largest group affected in the economic disaster zone he has created.
David, when cornered, is very aggressive, very rude, and shows no manners – this is from a man who preached about Christian Values and he shows no grace, just arrogance and totally justifies the ‘arrogant posh boys remark a few weeks ago.
The question is Dave up to the job, is he showing signs of strain as the Government lurches from crisis to another, most of their own making – I think he’s looking a bit tired.
